Silverado Calabasas is a memory care community in the Santa Monica Mountains, just off the 101, purpose-built for residents living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
Our approach is simple: understand the whole person, build daily life around who they are, and surround them with caregivers trained specifically in memory care. The result is a community where residents stay active, engaged and known.
Families also have an experienced care team close at hand, including a physician medical director, a master's-level social worker and licensed nurses available around the clock.

Mornings in the garden, a shared meal, a familiar activity. Days here are built around what residents love to do.

Memory loss shows up differently in every person. Our care plans start with who your loved one is (their history, routines and joys) and build the clinical support around that, not the other way around.

Specialized care for Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, in a community purpose-built for memory loss. Secure, calm and designed so residents can move freely and stay engaged.
A whole-person approach drawn from decades of memory-care experience: help with the everyday, familiar routines, trained caregivers and a calm environment that lowers anxiety and keeps residents engaged in the days ahead.
Short-term stays that give family caregivers a break, or a gentle way to experience the community before a longer-term decision. Full access to care, programming and meals.
Every Silverado community shares a specialized care model. These are the people, practices and local details families ask about when comparing care.
Certification requires 40 hours of classroom and hands-on training.
Plus a master's-level social worker and 24-hour licensed nurses.

Silverado is a certified Great Place to Work. Caregivers who love where they work stay longer — and residents feel the difference every day.
Silverado was founded in 1996 to do memory care differently. That focus, and the experience behind it, has guided every community we've opened since.
